Description: Bird feeder in Zealandia, providing sugar water as supplementary food for hihi (stitchbird). The wire mesh sides prevent larger nectar-feeding birds such as tui from accessing the food, but the feeders are also frequently visited by bellbirds. These stainless steel hihi feeders replaced older ones in 2021.
